I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY4592) and certified eating disorder specialist providing services in Denver and surrounding areas. I work with teens, adults, and families to support many issues, including eating disorders, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, anxiety and mood disorders.
I believe psychotherapy is a powerful tool in assisting people to make lasting changes in their lives. It is inspiring to see clients step into vulnerable parts of themselves to honor their emotions and process how past and present relationships shape their functioning.
I enjoy working with diverse populations and have experience in several treatment settings, including Outpatient, IOP, Residential, & Inpatient levels of care, and Community Mental Health settings.
I believe in developing insight into how we think, feel, and relate to others; we can identify patterns that may have protected us in the past but now act as a barrier to healthy functioning. Using the therapeutic relationship as a tool, we can understand how past experiences impact current issues. By bringing these often unconscious patterns to our awareness, we can learn, grow, and seek to meet our needs in healthier ways.
It is an honor to have the opportunity to work collaboratively with my clients on meeting their goals for treatment.
